This blog was created for artists who have an interest in painting. It is intended to share technology, ideas, and display work. As most painters know, experimentation with drawing, writing, and photography can be crucial to the development of a body of work, and so the 'painting' part of this is up to interpretation.
All wonderful paintings, [/rant] but at this level it's all a game of "Look What I Can Own" (and indirectly "what you can't"). Giant egos trying to buy immortality from the only people who still have the cajones to tell them to F* Off. Artists. None of this is making Van Gogh any richer, his estate isn't rolling in royalty dough either. Where's the listing of "The 15 Most Expensive Poems in the World"? ~m [/rant off]

Maybe the list is "The 15 Most Expensive Songs".
Too true though! It's seems like a fetish, this art collecting stuff, especially at that level.
